LATEST SINGAPORE COVID-19 NEWS:
- 25th August 2022 – Singapore relaxes Covid-19 measures and welcomes unvaccinated travellers without quarantine from 29 August 2022. Source.

Singapore Travel Restrictions
Can you travel to Singapore right now?
Vaccinated Travellers:
As of 1st April 2022, Singapore is open to fully vaccinated travellers from across the world without quarantine.
Please see here for Singapore’s list of recognised vaccines*.
*If you have been fully vaccinated more than 270 days ago, you will need a booster dose to be considered fully vaccinated. The most recent dose should be given no later than two weeks prior to travel to Singapore. From 14th March 2022, this rule will include everybody over 12 years of age.
Unvaccinated Travellers:
Unvaccinated visitors are able to enter Singapore without quarantine from 29 August 2022. They will be required to test negative for Covid within 2 days prior to their departure. Travellers will also no longer need pre-approval to enter Singapore.
Please note that Covid-19 travel insurance is still mandatory to enter Singapore and you must have a minimum of S$30,000 on your policy.

Required Entry Documents
- Bring proof of vaccination status (digital or physical copies)
- Take a PCR test no earlier than 48 hours before departing for Singapore (only unvaccinated)
- Download the TraceTogether app on your mobile (short-term pass holders)
- Fill in SG arrival card up to 3 days before arrival
Insurance
Fully vaccinated travellers are not required to have travel insurance for COVID-19 related costs for entry into Singapore. However, travel insurance is still advisable. Unvaccinated travellers must have Covid-19 insurance that covers S$30,000.

COVID-19 Tests Required
Vaccinated travellers are no longer required to take any COVID-19 tests before departure for Singapore.
Upon Arrival
Quarantine Period
There will be no quarantine for fully vaccinated travellers.
Unvaccinated travellers are no longer required to complete a 7-day quarantine from 29 August 2022.
During your time in Singapore, if you test positive for COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has, you will be required to quarantine in a government facility. This is different to the quarantine hotels in place for those unvaccinated arriving in the country. You can be held in a government quarantine facility for up to several weeks.
Local COVID-19 Rules and Regulations
The rules and regulations below are only meant to serve as a guide and the situation is prone to change rapidly without warning. For more information on local rules and restrictions visit https://safetravel.ica.gov.
- FACE COVERINGS – From 29 August 2022, Singapore is relaxing mask-wearing mandates across the region, removing the need to wear a mask indoors. You are still required to wear a mask in all hospitals and medical settings and on public transport such as buses and trains.
- SOCIAL DISTANCING – Social distancing is advised when possible.
- CURFEWS – None at present but these could be introduced at short notice.
- PUBLIC TRANSPORT – Masks are mandatory on all public transport.
- VENUES AND GATHERINGS – You must be fully vaccinated to eat out, enter some nightlife venues and attend an event with over 500 people. You may need to scan in/out of venues using the TraceTogether app.
- MOVEMENT OF PEOPLE – Singapore is using the Trace Together phone app which allows you to scan in and out of public areas, such as places of worship, shopping centres and other public buildings.
